En Attendant

You, Dimetrius the local blacksmith, have not seen your daughter for some 1.5 years. You miss her beyond description. In her absence, your hands have grown coarse, your face has been painted with deep lines and your chest has been filled with some sort of unholy air.

In her last letter, she told you she would finally visit you again this Christmas Eve; only three days away. Now, all you need to do is hold out long enough to see her arrival at long last.

How to Play

The majority of this game is controlled using your mouse/mousepad. Use the left button to interact / pick up objects, use the right button to drop objects.

Use S/↓ and W/↑ to switch views.

Hold Space while having your hammer equipped to strike.

About Me / The Game

This game was created for the Jame Gam Christmas Edition 2023 in GameMaker Studio 2, with the music being composed in FL Studio 20. Despite  having quite a few years of experience as a game developer, this has been not only my first ever (solo) Game Jam submission, but also my first ever solo game submission in general.

I must admit I'm quite proud on what I managed to muster up in only 7 days. If this game appeals to you in any sense, please consider staying tuned to my page. As they say, there's much more where that came from.

Note: despite its French title, this game can only be played in English. Talk about false advertising.
